Located in western Prince Edward Island, the Alberton Museum is housed in the former town courthouse, now a National Historic Site. The museum focuses on collecting artifacts and archival documents pertaining to the history of the town of Alberton. Exhibits explore the following themes: the Mi'kmaq, the fox industry, fishing, and farming. A photograph collection of the history of Alberton and its people, as well as extensive genealogical records are also held by the Alberton Museum.
