Annie Alice Anderson was born in 1863 to Alexander Anderson (1827-1899) and Isabella MacCallum (1831-1885) in Prince Edward Island. In 1895 she married Alexander Cairns (1865-1934), a farmer in Lower Freetown. The couple had three daughters: Alice, Laura, and Ruth (1905-1985). Annie died in 1942.
