Biographical history

Annie Winifred Hudson was one of five children born to Ruby Winifred West and Victor Judson. In July of 1940 she married Harry Mellish. They had five children and resided in Charlottetown. At some point Annie and Harry moved to New Glasgow. Annie died in Moncton 9 July, 1994 and is buried qt Cross Roads Cemetery.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of 5 scrapbooks compiled by Annie Mellish during the 1973 Centennial celebration commemorating Prince Edward Island's entry into Confederation. These scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings from the "Guardian", "Evening Patriot", "Eastern Graphic" and document the island celebrations and activities during the centennial year.
