The Brookfield Women's Institute was organized in Brookfield, Prince Edward Island, on 13 November 1933 by Miss Haszard. The Institute focused its energies on maintaining the local school and visiting the sick and the elderly in the community. The Institute also supported the Tuberculosis League, Red Cross, Kidney Foundation, and other charitable causes.
