Scope and content
The series consists of the business files of Bishop's Machine Shop. The materials kept in the folders consisted of catalogs, price lists, pamphlets, hand-drawn sketches, scribbled notes, and other business related items. Five of the blueprints describe how to install water systems and how to make a saw table. The sixth is a 1907 plan of the Summerside water and sewage system.

The original file titles have been retained and those files have been arranged in alphabetical order by the subject heading. There are two handwritten lists of file titles. The files that existed without titles have been stored in a separate box and have been loosely arranged in the following order: booklets or pamphlets, catalogs, government forms and literature, shop notes and correspondence, and sundry items
