  • 3 mi. east of Borden in Lot 28. Bells Point in Cape Traverse was used by the French as the PEI terminus for crossing to the mainland. Holland, 1765 and later maps applied the name Cape Travers to Bells Point. Post Office 1841-1892 and 1905-1930. Also P.O. Lansdowne Hotel 1888-1905.
