History

The Central Christian Church is located on Kent Street in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This brick church was designed by architect William Harris. Built by the Lowe Brothers contractors, the church was officially opened in September of 1900. It was enlarged in 1922-1923 by H & S Lowe contractors, with H. Arthur as architect and Charles Hamm as the main craftsman. Active within the congregation of the Central Christian Church throughout the years has been a Woman's Missionary Society, Ladies Aid, and the Young Peoples Society of Christian Endeavor.
