Biographical history
David Sabey Pound was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, in 1853. On 9 September 1876, he married Barbara McKenzie with whom he had at least 8 children. Pound was an engineer with the Prince Edward Island Railway for over 20 years.

This fonds consists of a memo book kept by David Sabey Pound between 1 July 1900 and 25 August 1900. The volume contains daily entries of trains leaving and arriving at the Charlottetown station. Information includes the time and place of departure of the train, the engine number, who the fireman and conductor were, the time of the arrival, and remarks about the weather.
