This subseries consists of 3 volumes of dockets of Affidavits for Ordinary Summons and Garnishee Summons issued during terms in the County Court of Prince County. The dockets books are arranged chronologically and include such information as name of the lawyer who requested the summons, the names of the plaintiff and defendant, the date the summons was requested, the number and type of summons issued, and often the amount of court fees involved. Occasionally a note indicates that the case was settled.
