Biographical history
The Enmore Women's Institute was organized in Enmore, Prince Edward Island, by a group of local women on 18 November 1925. The Institute focused its efforts on maintaining the local school, but also actively supported the Provincial Sanatorium and the Prince County Hospital. The women of the Institute also spent a great deal of time visiting the sick and elderly in the community.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of two minute books of the Enmore Women's Institute covering the years 1929 to 1942. Membership and officer lists, annual reports and financial records are also included in the minute books. The fonds also contains a roll call book spanning the years 1926 to 1942.
