Confrérie du très saint rosaire a été établie canoniquement dans l'église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Miscouche, Île-du-Prince-Édouard, le 10 septembre 1889, par le révérend père général des Dominicains, D.M. Saintouren. Le 13 du mois, toute la journée et toute la nuit, chaque membre était désigné une heure pour dire le rosaire à l'église.
