Frank J. Walker was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on 25 December 1893, the son of George and Christina (MacLeod) Walker. A few years after his father
Custodial history
Following Frank Walker's death, the volumes containing the clippings went missing but were eventually located by Bill Burnett, a fellow newspaperman, who recognized their research value and passed them on to the Public Archives and Records Office in April of 1990.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of two series:
Series 1: A war journal, by Frank Walker [World War I, 8 August, 1914- 22 July 1917 + postscript
Series 2: Scrapbooks of "Old Charlottetown (and PEI)"; articles from the "Guardian" newspaper
