Biographical history
George Abner Wallace Robertson was a cashier for the railway. He lived at 25 Upper Prince Street in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in 1890. He appears to have been an inventor who patented improvements for two wheeled carriages. He was married to Isabella Fowle and had a t least four children; Grantham, Ida, Gorden and Margaret.

Scope and content
This fonds consists of documents pertaining to the construction, manufacture, patent and use of carriage apparatus made and patented by George Robertson of Charlottetown. It contains an account book, sketch and specifications of carriage apparatus, correspondence between Robertson and carriage users, and correspondence between Robertson and U.S., British and Canadian Patent Offices.
