The collection consists of three large format photographs of the hospital, one circa 1915 labeled P.E.I. Hospital for the Insane, one in 1926 as Falconwood Hospital, and a colour photograph of Hillsborough Hospital and Riverside Home for Special Care in 1983.
Various collections in the Public Archives and Records Office contain materials related to Hillsborough Hospital. See in particular Acc3153, Acc3109, and Acc3466/HF79.114, all of which contain papers and photographs belonging to V. L. Goodwill, Medical Superintendant of the Hospital, 1900-1926
