Betty Rogers Large (19??-1990), of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, was the daughter of Keith S. Rogers, radio pioneer and founder of the Island radio Broadcasting Company and owner of radio station CFCY. Her grandfather was William Keith Rogers, wireless telegrapher and silver fox farmer. Betty was an early staff member of CFCY and had her own program, the Sleepy Town Express, which she wrote herself. She was co-author with Tom Crothers of "Out of thin air: the story of CFCY
