Scope and content
The fonds consists of one map of Prince Edward Island dated 1903 which provides county, parish and lot divisions. Some place names and names of roads are given. The PEI Railway line and branch lines are illustrated, as well as station locations and distances to Charlottetown. The map also provides locations of churches, and mills. Population figures for each township, taken from the 1848, 1855, 1871 and 1901 census returns are given. Marine information provided includes a tide table, soundings in fathoms and mail routes.
