Series includes reports of the Central Agricultural Society, Judge George Alley's notes regarding military regiments in PEI, newspaper clippings re militia, a return of the Duke of Kent's Volunteer Artillery Co., committee reports and proclamations regarding the militia. Series also includes muster rolls for 3rd Company, 4th Battalion, and Shuttleworth's Independent Forresters. This series also includes a number of transcripts of documents in the French Archives pertaining to Prince Edward Island. These include census returns, and Franquet's voyage and description of Prince Edward Island in 1752. Also included in the series are documents pertaining to government administrator Philips Callbeck and the will of his wife Ann Callbeck.
