History
The Murchison family emigrated to Point Prim, Prince Edward Island, in 1803 on the "Polly." Donald Murchison and Ann MacGillivray's oldest child, Donald Og Murchison(1824-1901) married Ann MacDonald, whose family had emigrated to Point Prim in 1806. Donald Og and Ann Murchison had ten children. Their oldest child, Mary, married Angus MacLean of Point Prim. They had nine children.
