Biographical history
The Norboro, Prince Edward Island, branch of the Women's Institute was established in 1913. They remained active until 1979 when the number of members could no longer sustain an Institute and so it was disbanded.
Custodial history
After the Norboro Women's Institute disbanded, the records were retained by former member, Mrs. Ivan Bowness.
Scope and content
This fonds consists of five volumes of minutes of monthly meetings and financial accounts of the Norboro Women's Institute.
