This series consists of 5 volumes of oaths of office and oaths of allegiance which were required to be taken by those appointed to a wide range of positions and commissions and were sworn in before a judge of the County Court. Included are the oaths of those appointed to such offices and positions as justice of the peace, magistrate, coroner, notary, and registrar of deeds. The volumes are arranged chronologically according to the year of the earliest entry of each volume.
