This series contains 54 audio cassette tapes of oral history interviews conducted by a group of students during the summers of 1982 and 1983 as part of the Benevolent Irish Society's oral history project. The interviews cover a wide range of topics, including genealogical information, social activities, courting and marriage practices, Irish/Scottish relations, customs and traditions, forerunners, superstitions, and information about local communities.
