Scope and content

The [2005] atlas consists of 43 maps of individual sections of Prince Edward Island. Each map includes roads, rivers and streams, contours, buildings, communities, lighthouses and range lights, golf courses, airports/airfields, parks, demonstration wood lots, wetlands, dunes, forest areas, fire truck refill stations and cemetery locations. There are indexes by names of roads, comunities, golf courses, parks, and cemeteries.

An earlier atlas, 1996, created by Forestry Canada and annotated for cemeteries by the PEI Genealogical Society is composed of 64 loose maps which contain many of the above features.
