Administrative history
Little is known about the Prince Edward Island Christian Association which operated at least between 1869 and 1925. The Association met twice annually and meetings, usually spanning three days, had both social and business components. The churches that belonged to the Christian Association took turns hosting the meetings. Some members of the Association also sat on the Missionary Board which undertook missionary work across Prince Edward Island. It is not known when the P. E. I. Christian Association disbanded.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of the second minute book of the Prince Edward Island Christian Association covering the years 1869-1925. In addition to the minutes of the regular meetings, it also includes reports from the churches that belonged to the Christian Association. The fonds also contains a few pamphlets and newsletters from the national association, the Canadian Churches of Christ.
