Scope and content
This fonds consists of three volumes of annual reports for the Charlottetown branch of the Queen Mary's Needlework Guild covering the period 1952-1970. The volumes also contain newspaper clippings about the activities of the branch, as well as statements documenting finances and expenditure. The fonds also includes a booklet describing the Order of Service for the Burial of Her Majesty Queen Mary, a copy of the book "Queen Mary's Needlework Guild: Its Work During the Great War", published by St. James' Palace and accompanied by a signed letter from Queen Mary. In addition, the fonds also contains several certificates that were granted to the branch in recognition of its valuable work, a copy of a speech delivered by Mrs. A. A. Bartlett describing the origins of the Queen Mary's Needlework Guild, as well as a photograph of the "Guild Home" in Quebec bearing an inscription to Mrs. Bartlett.
