Biographical history
Temple William Macdonld, son of Hugh Allister Macdonald (1879-1968) and Elizabeth MacPhee (1878-1961), was born on 14 March 1919 in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island. Temple served overseas in World War II. He married Agnes Batchilder and the couple had four children: Allison, Gaelyn, Ian and Douglas. Temple died on 28 March 1983 in Georgetown.

The subseries consists of four letters (1943, undated) from Temple W. MacDonald to his sister Grace MacDonald during World War II, as well as copies of Temple’s death notice and obituary from 1983.
