Biographical history
The Weeks family were long-time residents of the Fredericton, Prince Edward Island, area, beginning with Stephen Weeks who immigrated to Prince Edward Island in 1824. Around 1900 a house was built by John Weeks and his wife Elizabeth Jane Howard. It was the first in a series of houses which occupied this location. The house was destroyed by fire in 1914 and a new one built in the following year. The house and property remain in the Weeks family.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of three photographs of the Weeks residence in Fredericton in 1902, 1907 and approximately 1916/17. There are individual members of the Weeks family in the foreground in each photograph. Also included is a photocopy of a survey of the property of John Weeks by John Ball, ca. 1900.
