History

William Arthur Weeks (1860-1928), served as Clerk of the Crown and deputy-prothonatory in the Charlottetown Court House, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and rose to the rank of Major and C.O. of the Charlottetown Engineers, Canadian Militia. He served in the South African War 1899-1901. Later he practiced law under the firm name of Weeks & Whear.
