History
Henry Wadman owned and operated Canfield’s Store in Crapaud from 1865 until 1881, when he passed the store onto his son. Oliver Benjamin Wadman operated the store until 1918, when his daughter Winifred took over. Canfield’s Store changed owners and locations several times in its history. It is unclear when the business ceased operation.
