History
William Gill was a farmer on Union Road, Lot 33, Prince Edward Island. He was born in 1821, the son of Abraham Gill and Elizabeth Tanner. In 1847 he acquired 100 acres of land from his wife Mary's mother, Hannah West, where the family was to reside during his lifetime. He died on 11 June 1900.
