Custodial history

Scope and content

The series consists of four subseries: general correspondence, Agent General correspondence, subsidies and subject files. Subject files consist primarily of correspondence arranged according to topic; most files deal with federal-provincial issues, such as transportation, although a few files relate to solely local issues - the provincial exhibition and a controverted election for instance.
