This series consists of records dealing with the assessment and collection of taxation on Prince Edward Island between the years 1810 and 1974. This series is divided into three sub-series the first of which contains volumes of land assessment records generated in the collection of taxes owed to the provincial government by property owners. The remaining two series consist of descriptions of the school district boundaries on which land assessment was based and one volume of the Deputy Receiver's account with Treasury.
