This series consists of audiocassettes of hearings held in the Senate during investigations into the Production and distribution of the CBC series The Valour and the Horror, (2-6 November 2-6) and during the study of Bill C-41: the Divorce Act (28-29 January1997). It also contains a tape of the abortive meeting of the Senate Standing Committee to inquire into the adequacy of the response of the chain of command relating to the problems and events of the Canadian Airborne Division in Somalia (April 14-15, 1997) and tapes of meetings held in Bloomfield and Montague, PEI to hear the views of Islanders on Bill C-12: Employment Insurance (14-15 June 1996).
