Biographical history

Bessie (Marks) Wheeler was a former resident of Prince Edward Island. She died in Windsor, Ontario, in August 1988. She had a son by the name of William Wheeler.

Scope and content

This collection consists of a photograph of a stone cottage in Long River, Prince Edward Island, lived in at the time of the photograph by Bella MacKay and her children. The child standing in front of the cottage is ? MacKay, later Mrs. Lester Champion. The house in the photograph was built on the lot next to William Wheeler's grandfather in Long River. It has been destroyed since the photograph was taken.
