Biographical history
The Summerside, Prince Edward Island, chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi international cultural sorority was organized on 29 June 1954 with the aim of "development of the cultural and finer things in life". The sorority held regular meetings which generally consisted of matters of business and a topic of discussion. They also held bridge parties and social evenings as well as contibuting to charitable causes.

The fonds contains a Book of ritual, a song book and a scrapbook which contains photographs and newspaper clippings of sorority meetings and events.
