Biographical history
The Bunbury Women's Institute was organized in Bunbary, Prince Edward Island, on 8 June 1950. From that date it played a fundamental role in the life of its community, particularly in the areas of education, agriculture, citizenship and public health.

The fonds consists of minutes and financial records of the Bunbury Women's Institute from November 1952 to November 1958. There are also a few papers relating to miscellaneous fund-raising projects carried out by the Institute.
