The photograph albums and specifications were the property of C. A. Farquharson. It is not known who the photographer was. The records remained in the Farquharson and Blake families until they were deposited partially in the Public Archives and Records Office and partially in the Museum of the Highwood in High River, Alberta. The latter records were then transferred to the Public Archives and Records Office in Charlottetown.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of the following series: a photograph album containing images of the construction of the Hillsborough Bridge; the specification for the transportation and erection of the spans of the Hillsborough bridge; and a photograph album containing unidentified images, possibly of the Farquharson family.
