Dr. George Dewar (1915-2003) was a prominent physician and politician who was active in western Prince Edward Island during the last half of the 20th century. This series is comprised of materials which belonged to Dr. Dewar (given to Katherine by Dr. Dewar’s daughter Ellen after his death; see DB Vol. II/A pgs. 244-354 for Dr. George Dewar), as well as material produced by Katherine Dewar with and about her uncle.
