Biographical history

J. Wilber Clark, farmer and finish carpenter, was born on 22 September 1883 in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. He was the son of William Darnley Clark and Jane Stewart whose other children were Chesley, Maggie, Fred, Campsie, and Ernest. He was married to Nellie Bullman of New Glasgow and had two children, Thyra and Edith.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of a brief diary kept by J. Wilber Clark in an account book dated 1896-1897 from an unidentified Charlottetown firm. The diary outlines weather and daily farm chores and social activities of the family from 5 March to 5 June 1902. There are only three entries for April 1905
