Biographical history

John Bradley, a resident of Great Britain, was a direct descedent of Artemas Cambridge, the son of John and Mary Cambridge of Prince Edward Island. John Cambridge was a shipbuilder and merchant. Artemas and his brother Lemuel were involved in the business. Artemas had apparently left the Island by 1830 and resided in Bristol and later Liverpool.

This fonds consists of documents containing genealogical information concerning the family of Artemas Cambridge 1794-1876 including a "Birthday Companion" in which birthdays of various family members and friends are entered, copies of death certificates, and correspondence.
