Biographical history
The Ladies Auxiliary of the King's County Memorial Hospital was formed in the early 1930s to help raise funds for equipment for the King's County Memorial Hospital in Montague, Prince Edward Island. They raise money by operating a gift shop in the hospital, and through craft and baked goods sales. This oganization provided support through the purchase of furnishings and medical equipment for the hospital.

Scope and content
This fonds consists of Minutebooks and Treasurer's Books of the Kings County Ladies Auxiliary. The minutebooks contain minutes of the regular monthly and annual meetings held between January 1951 and April 2002. The Treasurer's books include the annual financial statements and monthly accounts of receipts and expenditures between 1956 and 1979. The fonds also includes a brief history of the Ladies Auxiliary prepared by its members.
