Biographical history

Lawrence Gaudet was a member of the first Prince Edward Island contingent to the South-African War. He also served as a Sergeant-Major in World War I. Mr. Gaudet died circa 1950.

The fonds contains three military photographs of PEI which feature the militia at Fort Edward; members of the 82 Regiment, Charlottetown Engineers, Artillery; and the Prince Edward Island Rifle Team.
