The fonds consists of minutes, reports, papers, financial records, executive members lists, programs and information related to the Maritime Conferences on Social Welfare and Development, 1947 to 1975. Included is a brief "History of the Maritime Conferences on Social Work, 1946-1973", written by Tally Morrissy, and biographical data about some of the Conference speakers over the years. There are also photographs of Arthur G. Laws and Sister Mary Henry, two of the speakers at the 1961 Conference in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
