Biographical history
The North West Prince Area Women's Institute District #2 included Institutes from the communities of Alaska, Cape Wolfe, Dunblane, Knutsford, Milburn, Milo, O'Leary, West Devon, and West Point. Each year the members organized a district convention and the Institutes took turns hosting the annual event. Each Institute was in charge of a portion of the program, and members shared information about their Institutes' activities over the past year. Activities and initatives of the provincial Women's Institute were also discussed.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of a minute book for the North West Prince Area Women's Institute District #2 for the period 1979-1990. The book includes minutes of executive planning meetings and minutes of the annual district convention proceedings. The fonds also includes some Institute attendance records, an undated report on agriculture, fishing and forestry, and executive member lists for the 1996 and 1997 district conventions.
