This subseries consists of files, containing primarily correspondence, which are arranged alphabetically by the subject of the files' contents. Topics include radio broadcasting, the Sanatorium Commission, the Transportation Commission, Vital Statistics, and the Wartime Prices and Trade Board. Also included is a file containing requests for and copies of letters of introduction from the Premier for individuals who were traveling to the United States or other parts of Canada. These letters declare the citizenship, either of Canada or of the British Empire, of the individual in question, the purpose of the individual's visit, and its duration. Often the occupation of the individual and names of family members are also given.
