Gallant, Sylvain T. Homme d'affaire. Bloomfield (Île-du-Prince-Édouard), 10 octobre 1866 - . Fils de Thomas Gallant et de Marie Gallant. Marié à Marie Gallant le 18 octobre 1891; père de Marie, Angéline, Edna, Thomas et André; marié à Ida Christopher; père du Dr Christopher Gallant et Everett Gallant, décédé en 1956; aïeuls paternels : Jacques Gallant et Marie Porier; aïeuls maternels : Thomas Gallant et Judith Doucet. Membre de l'assemblée législative de l'Î.-P.-É., 1912; marchand à Piusville; Portland Packaging Co., directeur; Département des Pêches à l'Î.-P.-É., superviseur, 1919-1936; C.M.B.A. succursale 342, secrétaire, 1901-1915, aussi président et trésorier.
