The series consists of research and interview notes and copies of the primary and secondary resources collected and compiled by Michael O'Grady in the writing of From grass roots to grim reapings, a history of the Rural Development Council. These include records from the files of the Department of Development, correspondence and reports supplied by Rudi Dallenbach, newspaper clippings, and articles and speeches.
