The series is comprised of cheque stub books, cancelled cheques, and deposit slips and statements of Bishop's Machine Shop. There is a gap in the cancelled cheques from 1946 to 1949 inclusive when the cheques were filed in envelopes marked "Receipts, cancelled cheques, deposit slips." They form part of the accounts payable series. Another gap appears from 1956-59 inclusive. Also included is a Bank of Nova Scotia passbook for Thomas Bishop dated 1943-48.
