This subseries consists of 26 Treasurer's account books spanning the years 1859 to 1886 with one file containing accounts for 1825. These volumes contain records of the Provincial Treasurer in Account with the Government of PEI which were then reported to the Legislative Assembly. The earlier volumes are simply a daily register giving name, warrant number and amount paid. The latter volumes contain a summary first then a record of transactions by division of receipts and expenditures, e.g. Education, pauper relief, warrants, license fees, etc. Sometimes these accounts were printed verbatim in the Public Accounts. These volumes are indexed.
